In the last 30 years Ribera del Duero and Rueda have emerged from almost nowhere to challenge Rioja for the crown of Spain's greatest wine region. These regions have grown from a few bodegas in the 80s to more than 170 wineries today, producing outstanding wines that compete with the best of Spain and the world. This Friday 6/12, from 6 to 8 pm we will have in the house Wine Consultant Doug Trapasso pouring a 2012 Bodegas Lambuena "Lagunero" Tempranillo (Ribera del Duero) and a 2013 Legaris Verdejo (Rueda), both food, fun and budget friendly wines that truly express the quality and crafstmanship of wine production in these regions. This event is sponsored by the local wine councils and the European Community.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday!
