With a forecast of 56 degrees I don't know if we can call this tasting a "winter wine event", but what I do know is that this awesome weather calls for wine, music and celebration!!!
Tomorrow, Rob Jackimiec will be playing the keyboard as we kick off the tasting with a "True Myth" California Chardonnay, a delicious white loaded with crisp, rich flavors of pear, pineapple and citrus - a true gem! Our second white is "Protea", a tasty, fruity Chenin Blanc (the predominant white grape of South Africa) that's perfect with Indian, Thai and Chinese food.
Our first red is a Bouchard Reserve "Pinot Noir" from France's famous Burgundy wine region. Light bodied, bright and elegant, this red wine pairs well with salmon, duck, chicken and cheese. Our second red is “G6”, a full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State’s Columbia Valley. This Cab is rich and deep, with flavors of black cherry and plum. A perfect match with burgers, barbecued meats and grilled chicken - a staff favorite!
We look forward to seeing you on Friday!
